I don't understand why some people go right to the extremes when making comments.
Illegal immigration is a problem for America that costs us in so many ways.
If we were to break up the caravan and put them into categories we would have a percentage that are seeking asylum/ refugee status for the right reasons and they will go on to become contributing members in our society. They will continue to love their homeland but they will embrace their new country with their hearts and minds.
There is also a cross section of this caravan that are coming for the wrong reasons. They are coming to exploit our systems and take advantage of our generosity. They are coming to deal drugs and death because that is the only skill they have to share.
I know that these are 2 extreme examples and there are plenty of people in the caravan that fall somewhere in the middle but we need to be careful with what type of person is allowed into the country.
The cost to have military troops at our border, and the cost to feed, shelter, provide healthcare, etc to thousands of immigrants for years to come is going to cost a lot of tax payers dollars. We're talking in the billions not millions.
Once central/south Americans find out America is giving out free buffet's, shelter, clothing, free unlimited healthcare (all these accommodations poor American citizens aren't getting) you'll see thousands more coming. Its like an extended vacation. Yes, you and i are footing the bill

They will respond just like before. It's no big deal to them and in fact are probably looking forward to the future voters that will come from that caravan. They will do everything within their power to see that these people get admitted into our country. I'm sure they don't want catch and release ended either.
