'Horseface,' 'Lowlife,' 'Fat, Ugly': How the President Demeans Women

This may be appropriate, but is it really worth a two-column, top half, and center of page article in the national newspaper of record? The conduct may be unbecoming of a President. This was pointed out in an opinion piece in, of all places, Fox News, Trump calls Stormy Daniels 'Horseface' in a tweet – Why has this kind of insult become the new normal? But it was captioned "Opinion by Leslie Marshall | Fox News."

But was calling a large number of working-class people a "basket of deplorables" any better?

ONE comment made by a person who is not president. No comparison here. The office of POTUS will never be the same or command the same respect as it did before Trump.

You might be on to something but you aren't.
He is gender natural on who he calls out. There is no gender or DNA boundary.

This thread highlights the gender propaganda for political gain. Clear case of trying to divide.

1. Statutory rape with Clinton
2. Pimping in the whitehouse with JFK
3. KKK party with Wilson

The list goes on and on and on.

What Trump did was disgusting to say the least, but now suddenly that Trump called someone horseface is a big deal? Have you heard something called honesty?

Personal attacks such as these are never warranted. I think the statement 'basket of deplorables' backfired so there's an example of not stooping to that level. But the problem is that when one person (candidate) starts with that, it quickly sinks on all sides. I believe the 'basket of deplorables' comment was related to the fact that Trump's campaign tactics and smears (personal smears) were so low and egregious, that to support that pretty much put you in the deplorable camp with Trump. Again, not a smart move politically on Hillary's part; however, I guess she thought that what's good for the goose and all that but apparently not. Only Trump gets away with personal assaults and classless words. Everyone else pays for them. Will he ever?

Didn't vote for Clinton; didn't vote for JFK.

That was then; this is now.

Guess what? They were still respected by our allies and around the world. DJT is not.

Perhaps if he stopped tweeting like some prepubescent boy . . . . and speaking like one as well. Or stopped vomiting out one of his easily verifiable lies.

I guess the trend is the president verbally assaults his political enemies... the liberals physically assault their political enemies.

What Trump did was then too. There's no now.

You are saying it's OK for Clinton to rape someone in the White house, JFK to force his staff to provide sexual favors, Wilson to cheer with KKK, but it's not OK for Trump to call someone horse face?

I seriously do not think Trump calling SD "horseface" is sexist. He seems to be actually very fair when it comes to his bullying. Everyone is fair game. Not that it is right. Just not sexist.

My 6 year old son asked me if our President was a bully last night. One of his friends parents must have been talking about it while their kids were listening. It was a pretty uncomfortable conversation. I could not lie. I said that yes the President sometimes is a bully and it is not right. I also said that the President also has done good things for people. I really wish the President would refrain from the cheap shots and nasty comments. I also told my son that. I also wish parents would stop talking politics with their young children. Their minds are too young to comprehend the bigger picture. Not to mention, all politicians have said something nasty about a rival at one time or another.
