Well, when you're a Trumper, it's all about alternative facts.

The Fed had been on a path of raising interest rates in 2017. The market was absorbing those rates.

THEN - voila - in 2018 - we unnecessarily implemented a tax 'reform' bill which CUT REVENUES, which at the same time injected a HUGE STIMULUS into an already excellent economy and on top of that began ADDING HUGE DEFICITS.

So, naturally, interest rates became more of a concern.

THEN, to put frosting on that quivering cake, we ADDED TARIFFS - which had the wonderful effect of raising prices, putting additional pressure on inflation, inflation then beginning to take away the meager tax cut given the great unwashed masses - and, even worse, CUTTING INTO CORPORATE PROFITSL/BUSINESS EXPANSION.

And, then, we wonder why the market is crashing.

  • Tax cuts for the rich, causing
    • Unnecessary economic stimulus
    • Reduced Tax Revenues, causing
      • Ballooning deficits, causing
        • Bigger drain on US budget to service that debt
  • Tariffs causing
    • Inflationary pressure
    • All but eliminating average citizen's tax cut
    • Crops with no market
    • Manufactured goods with no market
    • Higher costs for lumber used in new home construction
    • Higher costs of manufacturing material
    • Projection for reduced corporate profits
ALL of this is TRUMP. Not one single action had anything to do with QE.

No sirree, this debacle is right line with the Trump pattern - DESTROY whatever he touches.

This is definitely the Trump economy.

.
It's the Trump economy except for the good stuff that was started by Obama, right?

The effect of Trumps tariffs remain to be seen. There will be winners and losers.

More losers than winners for a fact.

The tariffs ended the bull market. More misery to unfold.

The Obama fake recovery was built on a flimsy foundation of QE, McJobs/stagnant wages, unproductive debt, and Obama reading off the teleprompter with a straight fact. You all bought it. Sure, it was fun while the music was playing, but we all know the music eventually stops. And this time, the bubble is oh so juicier than last time. Hope you planned accordingly.

OP, are you mad because you thought the market only goes up?

Tariffs are the primary cause just like in 29.
