Because William Jefferson Clinton, a Democrat, defeated incumbent Republican President George H.W. Bush in 1992.
The administration had a goal to come up with a comprehensive plan to provide universal health care for all Americans.
Health Care reform was a campaign issue and an eminently qualified Hillary Clinton was drafted to head a Task Force to devise the plan and introduce the plan to the American people. Conservatives/Republicans, Libertarians and the health insurance and pharmaceutical industries strongly opposed the plan. The industries poured money into an effort to rally public support against the plan. Television ads and other campaign type smears and fears were used and ultimately Hillary's popularity suffered.

You’re joking right ? Lol . America rejected her two times already . She blew a billion dollars in the last campaign then lost . She also coughs and needs to be helped up stairs . It’s over for Hillary Clinton . You can throw old man Biden and sanders with them also .
Nope, not joking at all. I want to see her get rejected a third time, all while accelerating the demise of the DNC. We might even get a video of her flying down some stairs.
I don't know about you, but I found her campaigning to be hilarious.
I am an Independent voter. I lean conservative on some issues and I lean liberal on some issues. But I want to know why the political right hates the Clintons with such vitrolic rage?
I know that in 1992 Bill Clinton won the presidency for the first time for Democrats since 1976. But despite Whitewater, Travelgate, the DNC-Chinese scandals, failing to take Osama/WTC plots seriously, Gingrich-Lott feuds, why does the right hate the Clintons, and the Gores?
Bill Clinton was good at his job but he should have been in jail for raping Juanita Broadrick. Hillary is an evil woman that should also be in jail. However, I don't hate them but glad the evil Hillary lost.
I don't hate the Clintons. I just think they are well past their freshness date and should be pulled off the shelf like some stale bananas.
Still, however, they insist on making themselves relevant. It's kind of like last year's Superbowl loser reminding everyone that they lost, but nobody cares.
I like Bill. Hell, I voted for him twice, and while I disagreed with a few things he did, I thought he was a very good president.
Hillary is no Bill.
"I voted for him twice"
Same here, and Hillary was quite Centrist and Pragmatic, up until she lost against Obama, thin flipped on many of her positions. Maybe she just got old and angry.
I dislike anybody that comes in broke in government and stays in for decades and comes out multi-millionaires.
Reagan did his 2 terms and left.....You didn't see Nancy wanting to stay in power by running for the U.S. Senate in a state she wasn't from, then force Bush 1 to put her as Secretary of State as a stepping stone for the Presidency while selling this country out for money.
They won't go away that's why many dislike them and they are crooked and corrupt as hell.

So, despite all of their dirty dealing and corruption (You barely scratched the surface BTW.), you wonder why we dislike them?
You might as well ask why we dislike criminals who commit ghastly crimes...are you really this obtuse?
