Why do they need/want this constant stream of opinions fed to them on a daily basis?
Aren't there other things to do or watch, friends or family to visit with, books to be read, volunteer work to be done...?

It's almost like it's an addiction, this constant reinforcement of already held biases and beliefs.

And now, getting worked up over the ratings as if they were talking about a sporting event.
Still waiting for someone to offer some explanation as to why it is so important as to warrant so many people dancing in the end zone.

Some people like a constant stream of news I guess. I don't.

They separate Opinion shows like Tucker, Laura, and Hannity from shows like Bret Baier and your beloved Shepherd Smith so there's no racism, nor bigotry. Every Conservative Opinion show presents the other side, so they can articulate their views. Yes, the host may rebut them but they get to present their side.

Nope. They still do that. It just goes round and round and round. I mean, I can appreciate that they all need guests with opposing viewpoints but maybe not 6 at a time. It's like a circular firing squad of one-upmanship.

I never did care for CNN and still don't.

CNN has changed since the 80's when I was in high school. Since they got rid of Larry King and the lineup it is totally cr@p now. I can't watch it for even 5 minutes anymore.

Here is the problem with the FOX News #1 rating... Fox has one basic audience while the rest of the world is divided between CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, and PBS, now if you add up the collective audience from those six news outlets and FOX beats them all, then you might have an argument.

On its face, that argument has some merit. However, the fact that the MAINSTREAM media for several decades has had a Left Wing bias says more about the Media than Fox's #1 rating. Remember Fox is a relative newcomer.

So you admit that CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, and PBS are no better than CNN. The very network which calls White people the Devil and Terrorists, and that helped Hillary Clinton to cheat at their own crooked Presidential "debate".

The rest of us have known this for quite some time.

I was a liberal Democrat for years. Then Ferguson came along.

I read 6 newspaper websites on a daily basis, all of them liberal. I read CNN for as long as I can stomach it, and Huff Post when I need a good laugh.

I also read Fox News. By far the most balanced, truthful, and thoughtful reporting. They also report news much faster than many of the other sites.

People who say Fox news is a joke either haven't read it, or they just want a place to spoon feed them what they want to hear.
