Protect themselves from what? They have no reason to be there at all. Even if there are some armed members of the caravan, it's in Mexico City, about 657 miles from the Texas border. Are you suggesting 5100 troops can't handle an at least mostly unarmed caravan from that far away? What do they need 300 vigilante members for? The militia can argue with the military over who gets to play the iron in the next Monopoly game, I suppose.
From the dangerous ones in the caravan, duh. The militia is there to assist the Border Patrol. They have done it in the past. We have a 2,000 mile long border. We need as much manpower as we can get. Your agenda has been clear with each and every post.
The last time these F Troop guys got going in a big way we ended up with one of them causing the death of 189 citizens in OKC.
Um no, that was terrorism against our own citizens by one person. This is about preventing foreigners from entering our country illegally for patriotic reasons not terrorism. Big fail!

If their bad situation is simply being poor then that's not a valid reason to join a caravan and march up to our border demanding asylum. That's the reason for 80% of them.

I have never said I want them to enter the country but conservatives always assume liberals want every illegal immigrant to flood the country without restriction. And if I'm wrong, you're welcome to find a post of mine in which I said, "Let them all come in." I know I didn't, and no liberal advocates that. And no Trump supporter has been able to persuasively explain why it is necessary to have a 5100 person strong military protect us from a caravan 657 miles from the Texas border

all the publicity we can generate to discourage illegal entry is fine. does not mean all the bluffing will come to reality.

where is the concern about the source of the mass exodus, never a peep about stopping the flow in their country of origin. No criticism of the Mexican government as if they have no part in causing millions to flee their country.
