I'm a republican in Florida and voted straight D as well for the first time ever. I have crossed party lines in the past but this is the first time I just went straight D.

Sorry to hear that, you won't be getting any free education, healthcare, welfare, and pay hikes out of it just because that's what you were promised.

2nd time I did so in my life (first time was in 2016), even if I'm in Texas. And for the same reasons you did..

I am a Native New Yorker of Trump's age. We know him very well. I have even met him personally. I am embarrassed and feel disgraced that he is one of us.

Who says you can't go home? The Donald.

Good.

This now makes atleast 2 posters who admit "their vote doesn't make a difference" yet chose to vote anyway, just so they can say they voted.

Whatever you think of Trump, Trump will be remembered by historians as the President who stood up against unfair trade deals rubber stamped by both parties. He broke through the taboo wall on this. It's almost impossible to go back to the way trade deals were done previously.

He will also be remembered as the candidate who developed a whole new campaign mechanism - one where he spent less than his main competitor and won by ground support.

All those crazy theories, "emoluments clause," Russia collusion, aides flipping on him, crotch grabbing, and whatever else will just go down as the entitled class not understanding the popular change.
