He's apparently part of a growing laundry list of potentials but still a surprise to hear his name in the conversation at all. I thought Jared had put a total kibosh on Krispy Kreme in retribution for putting Jared's daddy in jail.
Trump doesn't have many to choose from. CC doesn't have many job prospects either - the most unpopular Gov. in NJ history that I know of...
He's a perfect fit for Trump.
I am always amazed how correct the Rolling Stones were "every cop is a criminal, and all the sinners saints" - guys like CC, after being the folks who chased crooks, now protect the biggest of them all.
I thought Christie started out a good Governor but he really was really awful at the end of his term. I think he had the lowest approval rating of any Governor anywhere in modern history.
He DID do some important tho unpopular things like push all unions except the cops for increases in pension contributions and more changes like COLAs and retirement ages. Something he gets little credit for that will save BILLIONS over time.
When you can't get CC on board, that means the ship is definitely sinking.
Time to call "the mooch" and give it to him for a couple days. Or maybe Alex Jones. Make him famous.
I so wish Scaramucci would get another crack at it. Probably not a good fit for AG, but CoS or Press Secretary?
He was colorful, no doubt about it. But he had a certain charm that is missing from this collection of thieves and liars.
What happened to the guy that Trump was talking about last week for AG? Has he bailed already?
