... and to think we missed out on the great opportunity to have a Chump-supporting Cox for governor. Dang!

In August [Trump] tweeted, "California wildfires are being magnified & made so much worse by the bad environmental laws which aren’t allowing massive amounts of readily available water to be properly utilized. It is being diverted into the Pacific Ocean. Must also tree clear to stop fire from spreading!"

Fire officials said Trump's statements, and remedies, were incorrect.

"We have plenty of water to fight these fires," Deputy Cal Fire Chief Scott McLean said in a statement in August. Nonetheless, the Trump administration announced it would override the Endangered Species Act to provide extra water -- not needed by the fire crews
La tee da! Waiting to hear more from the Chump fan club about how “rational” people chose the Donald ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

I hope mean-spirited people like you get their karma.

There are plenty of Trump supporters in Southern California. I would love to hear them support this stupid statement of his.

One of the reasons the fires are so bad is due to global warming, but NO, don't let science inform us.

Trump is saying we should better manage the forrest (which is gravely needed) and if we don’t he will pull the funds.

Forest management in this state has been a joke since the late 80’s and is the main cause for the out of control wild fires.

These fires are completely preventable if reasonable forestry management was put in place.

Instead the status quo is maintained so that democrats can have a reason to push climate change as the reason so that they can implement their true agenda which will have no bearing on the actual fires.

Think of it this way, if reasonable logging was allowed and clean up of dead and dying trees much less climate change particles would be out into the air because the Forrest wouldn’t burn uncontrollably. By not logging we are actually making climate change worse.

And where is that forest in Malibu?

Trump is so dumb and misinformed. He whines about lack of forest management, not knowing that...

...the ignition point for the Paradise "Camp Fire" was on FEDERAL LAND. Oops.

So, Donald, why didn't your administration clear the brush and dead trees?

This one's on you, jerk.

Um. Shooter. The forests have existed - and burned - for millions of years without any logging or other human “management”. It is part of nature’s cycles. It is a brutal disaster for humans affected ... but it is perfectly natural in occurance.

What is of issue here, with the Chumpster’s ignorant proclamation is: Chump’s ignorance in the face of our human, social need, to accomodate people affected as climate changes and forests accelerate their burning. And NOT to seize an opportuny to punish a perceived personal enemy out of pettiness and personality disorder.

OMG: what do you suggest we do about Global warming? Are you blaming Trump for that of just progress in general? As for pulling funds I too wish he would do something to stop the nuts in CA for destroying one of the best states in the country. The good days were back when Reagan was governor. Yes, there are people in So Ca that are Trump supporters, there are those in NO CA as well. If you there you know this if you do not, you probably know nothing about Ca. Sanctuary cities and states are un-American.

WE are not mean spirited we just want the nonsense to stop.

bTW: science is an unproven science.

By managing the forest it makes the fires less intense and easier to co rain once they start.

By doing so also reduces green house emissions by 1. Not having as many fires and 2. By having more trees in total since they won’t all be burned down.
