Other than Israel, we don't have a single "long term ally"
You could well be right now that Europe is planning some form of European Army and NATO's future is looking far more uncertain with Trump in the White House.
Whilst Trump continually makes threats and calls for tariffs on trade with allies despite the reality being that tariffs are relatively low and the US exports a lot in relation to Europe and only has a relatively minor trade deficit given the sheer amount of trade between the US and EU which is over $1 Trillion per year.
It's pretty well known at this point that Trump won't read anything he is given, and most have essentially 5 minutes to make their point with him. Even when they tried to brief him on the constitution he zoned out. Trying to educate him via pictures and flash cards has done no good.
I understand that there is a portion of the population that thinks this acceptable, but this is beyond crazy and dangerous. The man, and his supporters, are happy with communication via memes and sound bytes. Actual facts and policy be damned.
There is no doubt that the "MORON-IN-CHIEF" is only semi-literate, with the attention span of a goldfish!
There are two factors that limit Trump's ability to learn and absorb all the things needed to do this job. One is his age, while there are "young" 72 year olds, he is not one of them. He is exhibiting signs of early dementia, a lot of professionals have voiced that opinion.
But , the biggest factor is, Donald Trump is simply not that bright. He pretends to be "smart", but his childish language skills and grasp of the English language do not demonstrate that. His thought processes are very much 3rd grade level. He has to describe everything as "things", if you listen to any of his speeches.
I bet that the people who work for him would have story after story to tell about how much of a buffoon this man is, on a daily basis.

He'll be crushed by your well thought out critique!
