I love it when a topic backfires like this. And motherjones is as idiotic as ever. I'm certainly they won't ack it either.

Trump still winning.

Where is the OP now?

"Group of politicians pledge to do something during photo op".

I mean the odds of them not actually following through on it in any meaningful way is like 0, politicians always keep easy, empty promises.

Instead, we should have them sign something. Oh yeah, like Kyoto accords, then when they don't follow through....we can still blame the US because they didn't sign it.

The EU can't even keep members from breaking their budgetary REQUIREMENTS and they share a dang currency. >.<

Still don't see your point. We have been number one in economic output as well. The two go hand in hand.

Stop blatantly lying and making stuff up. Nowhere in that article does it say that “Macron...has cancelled all his plans to fight climate change”.

Setting aside all the Trump, Macron etc. political garbage.

The bottom line is that a lot of people seem to keep falling for the empty promises of foreign countries to combat global warming while patting themselves on the back for lip-service and yelling about the US not also joining them in their Potemkin schemes.

You guys ok with people talking a good game and doing nothing? It sure seems that way.

Hello. Where have you been? Even the idiotic guardian calls him out for it.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...esident-macron

Macron has suspended all carbon taxes, and moved to make it easier to drive gas burning cars.

Paris Accords died at the hand of Macron.

Trump was proved 100% right.
