They could fund a private detective that reports to the bishop or even the pope though, that may help.

God could STOP the sexual abuse if he existed and cared about the children! There would be NO need bishops, pastors or popes to sit idly by and do nothing if God acted.

This pedophile priest stuff has been going on for a long time. I had several relatives that worked the investigative end of law enforcement and they warned me about it eons ago. The Catholic church was the perfect place for them to hide.

Nonsense.

The RCC is a corporation, which did not cry separate church and state when it filed bankruptcy in many archdioceses to avoid paying its penance for hiring thousands of pedophiles.

If it wants true separation, I would favor that. No corporate entity. No fire protection. No police protection. No paving nor plowing roads around churches. Total separation of church and state.

Well that would be difficult since most Churches are on main streets throughout cities. Church gets on fire and the courthouse nearby might burn down as well.

"Rotten Leaders
They will get exactly what's coming to them."

And now they want the people in the pews to give them even more money? God help us.

The Catholic Church is a criminal organization that shuffles pedophiles around to hide them from the law.

Unless pedophilia is a recognized religion, the RCC should not be entitled to tax exempt status as a religion.

Makes no sense to me.

I wouldn't underestimate the church's ability and willingness to buy people off.

It still galls me that as a young boy attending Sunday school after mass I had to listen to crap like being threatened with eternal damnation if I even stepped foot in another church while the Catholic church continues to turn a blind eye to their own sinful and felonious behavior.

How 'shocking.'

If it were any other organization that was involved in such wide spread sexual abuse, it would be considered a criminal sex ring.

RICO, nuff said.
