I thought Spicer was bad but Sarah takes it to a whole new level by not doing her job of giving daily press briefings and when she does every few weeks, she constantly lies, deflects and spins her story to the detriment of America. We are better off NOT having press briefings since nothing that comes out her mouth is believable.
I like her but can't see anyone staying in a position with the current media circus for more that a year or so. It's just emotionally draining dealing with such stupidity and negativity from the press.
I certainly agree with you on an objective basis, but I'm not sure that applies within the GOP, certainly not the hardcore Trump base. I would guess she will have lucrative opportunities in the private sector - at least for now, while Trump has some power so currying favor with people in his orbit can still be helpful.
Of course that means down the road, when he's out of office (which will be the case one way or the other, regardless of the outcome of the Mueller probe) and there is no longer any benefit in trying to be on his good side, I suspect that the long term prospects for SHS and other members of the Trump administration may be less rosy than members of other administrations. Typically, you are pretty well set forever going forward when you've been in a presidential administration but in this case, I think that Trump has burned so many bridges that even the GOP will want to wash their hands of everything connected to him once he's out of office and no longer has any actual power.
