Its not that anyone perceives her as a political threat. It is simply that her statements, ignorance, and audacity are extraordinary and are extremely unusual, even for a politician.

Ms Ortez is newsworthy, as her comments are comedic to anyone with an ounce of sense, thus the appeal. It is for the same reason that people read the comics in daily newspapers. She will be worth a dozen Hank Johnsons and Maxine Waters over the course of her career. Like most of those with lower intelligence and lack of knowledge, she perceives herself as being an enlightened genius, which makes it all the more amusing. It is the Dunning-Kruger effect defined.

I'm guessing some of Adoph Hitler's comments when he first got into politics were as amusing and newsworth as Kennedy's. He also wanted to control the population and was obsessed with identity politics along with race.

What is so funny about planning for the future?

Naive in the sense that Republicans wont support it, but that has nothing to do with if its possible to do the things she listed.

If FDR/Truman can electrify the deep South, surely its possible to simply upgrade the grid.

Nor am I interested in feel good bumper sticker ideologies and abstract proclamations such as "cleaner future"

Really? You don't think that's a legit question? Look at the public comments many of the far left celebs are saying now.

Jane Curtain something like "we have to kill the Republican Party"

I've heard worse from others I cannot recall but they sound pretty sinister.

Still waiting for you to be specific regarding the points in my post. Actually, I'm not waiting because you never will be specific due to the inability for you to provide data to prove me wrong.

Her proposals are in the article. Do I have to read them to people?
