They could find $5 billion in their sofa cushions but they would rather support illegal aliens that murder, assault, and rape our citizens and then give them safe haven in their sanctuary cities.

Go ask the Border Patrol if THEY want a wall. They are the ones on the front lines, not the cowards on the left that can''t even define what border security is.

No wall, no deal.

So Hannity is now saying that DACA should be the trade for the wall.

Dems are claiming that deal is no longer available -- they offered a year ago and Trump said no.

But if Hannity is suggesting it might happen --- will Trump listen to his adviser.

Senate threw it in the trash, why waste their time with something the President won't sign. Pelosi has never dealt with someone like Trump, she has a lot to learn.

I guess I don't understand why the shutdown is even happening. Trump should simply take the 12 Billion required to build his wall out of the 25 Billion that Mexico gave him during his campaign and build it with that.
Problem solved.

If you are talking about the 25 Billion, Schumer pulled the offer almost as quickly as he made it. Trump didn’t say yes OR no yet. If you are talking about some lesser amount, then sure. But if you ask me, DACA is worth the full 25 Billion, no less.

GOP had 2 years where they controlled all 3 branches and didn't vote for the wall. The wall is only used for political posturing, and Trump thought he could use it as a weapon to paint Democrats as weak on border security. 5 billion won't even pay for a fraction of the wall and both parties knew it, so Democrats need to hold their ground and not allow Trump to bully them for the money.

Hannity isn't Trump's only advisor.

Trump can get wall money from general fund. He can end all programs allowing illegal aliens to stay and start the deportation machine.

During those 2 years, they never had the supermajority needed for the wall. Unless you are saying they should have exercised the nuclear option.
