Here's how filthy and rotten journalism has become. Vogue (of all magazines) published a piece on Phillips just yesterday. This is what they say about him:
Born to an Omaha Nation family in Nebraska, Phillips was separated from his mother around age 5 and raised by a white family until he was 17, when he joined the Marines and served as an infantryman in the Vietnam War.
How did they come up with that? Him? His wiki page (which has been transformed overnight, by the way, to reflect the truth)? Don't magazines employ fact checkers any longer? DOES ANYBODY?
The Washington Post published an update to the story they had done on the original incident. At the bottom is says:
"Correction: Earlier versions of this story incorrectly said that Native American activist Nathan Phillips fought in the Vietnam War. Phillips served in the U.S. Marines from 1972 to 1976 but was never deployed to Vietnam."
So I guess that explains it.
The thing is he has claimed it in the past...……..also supposedly has a go fund me page saying he is a Vietnam veteran...……….

Until today his own wiki page had him listed as a Vietnam Vet. He's even been a documentary in which he spoke of his service. He's a god damn liar of the worst kind.
They were desperate to take the focus off of the fake news Cohen story they went hog wild over until Mueller made the rare move of coming out publicly to say it was untrue. The funny thing is that turning to the MAGA-hate story, they latched right onto yet another fake news story. Honestly, you can't make up that chit. /SMH
Those two stories, back to back, are a condensed version of why the MSM is known by most as the "fake news."
Exactly. When dealing with the MSM, it's best to assume they are getting it wrong (or lying) until it can be proven otherwise.
A lot of liberals really showed their ass on this one and I say that as a Democrat.
What is so surprising and shocking to me is the immediacy in which these celebrities, news anchors, authors, etc. go into these organized social media attacks on these people. Like, within hours of the first whiff of an incident, people are already going dark web operator with data on these people and every facet of their lives. There is zero accountability for this behavior, which is beyond messed up. Just lather at the mouth, wreak havoc, smugly whisk your hands, then quietly delete your damage once you've been proven wrong. Lather, rinse, and repeat at the next whiff of any potential social injustice. SJW TEAMS ASSEMBLE!
I keep thinking about Patton Oswalt, someone I've always thought was pretty funny, doxxing a FIFTEEN year old over this, and I'm just shocked and disgusted to see SO MANY grown adults immediately fly into these psychotic rages of revenge and retribution the way that they do. Even John Cusack, my lifelong crush, made an ass of himself over this.
As I sit here typing this onto a public internet page, I suddenly realize that it's the root of all freaking evil.
