For all in support of allowing illegals into the country-politicians should mandate that homes greater than 3500 square feet must accommodate a portion of those crossing the border.

Force the wealthy neighborhoods, towns, and cities across the united states to accommodate them and see how fast they approve of building the wall and increasing security.

Yes, and people opposed to abortion should be required to open their homes to the unwanted children, regardless of race or socioeconomic background.

Cool proposal, bro.

My house is over 3500 sq ft and I’ve always supported a wall. Lots of conservative states have a better COL so homes that size do not necessarily belong to elites.

As to the other, many Christians DO adopt especially evangelicals.

It's not the size of your home, it's the heart of your home. My house is 1,500 sf and once we have a bedroom or two free (kids are currently teenagers), I'd take in a refugee family. No problem.

I'm not saying that the illegal families should be split up. I'm saying that those who have the resources should be mandated, under a majority vote by the legislature to accommodate these illegals (individuals or families ) that are allowed to come into the country.

And I suggested some quotas (eg., those with homes of 3500 square feet should be forced to accommodate these people with minimum living space of 500 sq ft per illegal person.

Start with Beverly Hills, CA and mandate the policy throughout the United States.

Start with Hollywood. I’m sure a few dozen could fit in Cher’s house alone.

Does your proposal extend to everyone with a 3,500-square-foot house, like BobCat4, or just to those who support illegal immigration?

If it's the latter, how would you determine which people support illegal immigration? Would you mail out checkbox forms, or just assume that anyone registered as a Democrat belongs in that group? What about registered independents? Would we split them in half and hold a lottery to decide which ones are legally required to house immigrants?

I need more information. Are you talking about people actually coming in illegally (which I don't think anyone wants) or people coming here legally in a way you don't like (asking for asylum)?

If the latter, I think you might be surprised. People sponsor refugees from Syria and other countries and I think they'd also sponsor refugees from Central America.

So here is my question: If you live in a neighborhood where several families decided to sponsor refugees (from whatever country you want to apply this to), would you pitch a fit about it? Also, do you identify as any certain religion? If so, what would that religious text say about helping the poor/non-citizens? If not, the question does not apply. Thanks.

Well, then why haven't you?
