Money doesn't corrupt everyone. It's the love of it that corrupt some.
Just want to clarify that money corrupts the corruptible. There are those who have money who don't let it corrupt them and those without a lot of money who won't be corrupted in order to acquire it. Not against people having money at all.
Except that the investigators in the Smollett case said there was evidence of "collusion." The investigator in the Ruhshuh case said there wasn't.
There really is not much similarity and attempts to draw parallels are ridiculous. That said, it's all over for Smollett while Trump is still facing a great deal of investigation, fines, and possibly prison time for crimes related to his business dealings. If it was not collusion that had him carrying water for Putin, lying at every turn both Trump and several associates, then what is it? We will find out eventually.

The latest I read was that he did not actually sign the police report. That played a huge role in what they could/could not charge him. So aside from all the typical grumbling can we take a second to comprehend that all the moaning from all sides was possibly over an event the alleged victim would not officially acknowledge???
