Whatever it takes to keep her out. And put a veil on her head, I don't want to see that miserable face again.

Children born in the United States to accredited foreign diplomatic officers do not acquire citizenship under the 14th Amendment since they are not “born . . . subject to the jurisdiction of the United States.” [2] DHS regulations, however, have long allowed these children to choose to be considered lawful permanent residents (LPRs) from the time of birth.
The family has proof that the father was no longer a diplomat at the time of Hoda's birth - a UN letter dated in 2004. It sounds like that letter was used to get her the first passport that was issued at birth. So the State Department accepted it once.

Maybe yes, maybe no. State issued her the first passport and while passports are commonly accepted as proof of citizenship the State department really doesn't have the authority to make a citizenship ruling. What they do is more procedural. Citizenship falls under Homeland Security, USCIS.

Her citizenship hasn't been revoked. The story now is that she never had it to begin with - this really reduces her possible rights. Sure the mechanism was the Trump tweet to the Pompeo announcement but it's really up to USCIS. If it doesn't want to consider the UN letter for some reason (like Trump) then who knows.

The really sad thing is that this then also denies her son derivative citizenship.

The ISIS brides who want to come back to their countries MUST be brought back to be incarcerated and de-programmed so that they cannot remain with ISIS and marry other Jihadi warriors and continue to breed more ISIS babies for them.

Leave them where they are and let them deal with the consequences of their actions.

I hope the US won't spend one dime to bring them back here.

We'll blow up any progeny terrorists if and when the time comes. Meanwhile, any time you let these freaks into the country, there are a cadre of ACLU lawyers waiting to help them blow up our system with obstruction and delay. So keep them the hell out.

Anyone who joins ISIS should be charged with treason against their home country and imprisoned, if not executed if found guilty.

And/or they should be taken to Gitmo and interrogated for a VERY long time.

Hmmm, I say, let her come back, and then give her to the United States and let the CIA or whoever to interrogate the hell out of her.
