Guns are not banned in other countries and guns should not be banned.

The gun debate is more to do with certain type of guns.

Need more mental institutions. Mostly for deranged liberals that get their hands on guns.

Sensible gun control for certain firearms is fine, but banning all guns? I don’t agree, and I’m a liberal!

Like Dylan Roof who thought blacks needed to be exterminated. We know however that many on the right agree with this.

Its more a comment on making anything you want a national emergency in order to get what you want.

Not that I think anyone would ever do that.

This is one of the areas where a future D President will be declaring a national emergency if the courts allow the current one.
Add global warming and health care to the list as well.

What surprises me is McConnell is supporting it. He's been steadfast in maintaining the Senate's 60 vote requirement.
McConnell knows he'd be powerless to stop a future D Congress and President from doing whatever they wanted if it only took 51 votes.

For those that are actually serious about it, how would one go about doing it? Use the military?

We've seen how the no knock door kicking is going.
