According to Chris Christie, it was like pulling teeth. That’s not how a committed candidate would behave.
Do you have a link that quotes Chris Christie saying that?

I doubt Trump ever played to lose.

Ba ha ha, that's Cohen lie #1. Anyone who knows anything about Trump knows Trump doesn't play to lose.
If he's not playing to lose, could have fooled many of us. He loses a lot.

Trump Airlines
Trump Beverages
Trump the Game
Trump Mortgage Company
Trump Casinos
Trump Magazine
Trump Steaks
GoTrump.com
Trumpnet Communications
Trump University

Probably not comprehensive.

Does saying that make you feel better? Did it occur to you that they like Trump? Anyone who votes on "a team" in politics is an idiot. You vote for their policies, not for a team. I know New Yorkers who like and wanted Trump to win. Get out of your circle moneill, you'll learn something.

Exactly. He knew what he was doing, he was pushing real hard.

And if it is true he didn't want to win, then which candidate did he secretly support? Crooked Hillary? Lil Marco? Low energy Jeb? He tried to make fools out of every one.

You can't win without playing. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. That's why so many people are stuck in a rut, they lose because they won't try to win. It's too scary for them. New flash

TRUMP WON!

Shrug. I don't know why you say that Mueller is drawing blanks. He isn't.

Christie wrote a book and has done multiple interviews in which he described in detail Trump’s resistance to forming a serious transition team and his vociferous complaints about having to fund it. (The Feds provide space, computers, and other support services, but it’s up to the candidate to fund the hiring of staff.) That’s not the way a man who really expected to be president would behave.

Trump !! Cant beat the federal government. Say what you will..but it s donald trump against the USA. This is the first witness for the prosecution. Trump has met his match. I m just glad Cohen s still walking around. Any one of those republican circus clowns could have arranged for him to be harmed. Anyone who supports this pres not going to jail deserves the crash and burn of their own career. Glad for the media. They are the preservationists of our democracy.
