I was born in 1953, and there have only been three candidates that I was actually excited about -- Bobby Kennedy, George McGovern, and Bill Clinton. However, I was actually even more excited about NOT having Nixon win and then be re-elected, and ditto for Bush II.

What about you?

Barack Obama 2008. I found him to be very likeable, intelligent and charismatic. One of our better presidents to be sure.

Obama in 2009. Then he turned out to be another one who didn't keep promises.

Trump in 2016. And I'm still satisfied with him. He's tried to do everything the promised to do.

The most recent one, not including this election cycle? Ross Perot.

Before that, Bobby Kennedy. I was a volunteer on his campaign in my state.

Nobody since then until this cycle, with Mayor Pete. I've been on the Buttigieg bandwagon bigtime since last spring.
