Of course the leftist-propaganda machines are already trying to smear it as "far-right" and enabling "hate speech". And boy do they hate the idea of people being able to have discussions that aren't moderated by the ministry of truth.
I think this could be a huge step forward in internet free speech.
For them it does. The left controls the narrative right now because they have the media. They know they have the media, despite all of the constant denials. Everyone knows they have the media.
They also have Silicon Valley.
People were told to "build your own if you don't like it", so, someone did. And now we have Gab. And now we also have Dissenter. And what is the first thing that they do? Whine about it.
They know, good and well, that this will take a good chunk of that narrative control away from them - all that work brainwashing people, down the drain.
That's all the left has: "racist" "Nazis" none of which are true, and with Dissenter, they don't get to control that anymore.
If someone is going to call Gab "far right" simply because it's possible to find far right accounts on Gab, then Twitter is also far right, because you can find far right accounts on Twitter.
Dissenter is not to different to reddit posting articles for people to comment on. It just lacks the power tripping mods, and so far the political and corporate bots that work to control speech/the narrative. We aren't posting on "their websites" we are posting on dissenter about their websites/fake news. That guy is a complete nutjob, as are most of them tbh.
That should give you a little idea of what it is. And all the screaming from the left is not going to stop it.

So it's a website where people can comment whatever they want about some item somewhere else?
I should care why? Even if people want to go there and make a total fool of themselves, I'm suppose to care, why?
That's the point. You shouldn't care what anybody on the www believes and says unless it's a direct threat to commit physical violence against somebody.
Some advocate silencing unpopular opinions. You don't seem to.
If I don't like a site's content I just stay away from it.
Seems to be a massive advertisement campaign for the site. I had never heard about it before today.
