1–Vindman was ESCORTED out of the WH—
He didn’t leave under his own volition
He was basically ejected from his liaison job by Trump and his faction

2–this is retaliation for Vindman’s testimony which in itself is a violation of a Federal law that prohibits punishing those who testify against their superiors...

Another law Trump has broken that no one in DoJ gives a fart about

The white collar criminal doing the purge.

No wonder the GOP is splitting.
The GOP isn’t splitting—-that would imply that more of them have a conscience and I fail to see that

Romney is playing the long game but don’t know that he has the staying power or charisma to make a dent in starting a new party...

PS
Sondland probably found out that it takes a stronger stomach than he has to make the kind of money he thought would be lying around as Trump’s ambassador...
Sondland is very lucky he isn’t being charged with some major crimes—because he committed them
He just has the benefit of a crooked POTUS and AG...and a stultifyingly sycophantic Senate....

Trump has no shame, as do the republican senators.

Guess Collins lied when she said Trump would learn a lesson from this.

Vindman and his brother, Sondland, Yovanovitch, Taylor, ...

Putting a target on Democrats, calling them "evil," "sick," ...

He's acting more like a mob boss every day.

Collins knew he hadn't learned any lessons. She just did what she always does, pretends to be a moderate who is "considering" bucking the party when they are at their most egregious, but she never, ever actually follows through with that. That's enabled her to project a moderate image while in reality she is as much a Trump sycophant as McConnell and Graham. Hopefully that deception finally catches up with her in November.

And if she really did believe he had "learned a lesson" then she is simply too stupid to remain in her seat.

If the senators might have cared enough about witnesses and evidence they would have allowed it. The (GOP) appears not to care about any possible truth. Vindman who is creditable couldn’t tell them what he heard. I’d simply have asked for the audible recorded telephone call that was placed in top security at the WH. If the call “was” that “good” of a call – why not let the senators (or the country) hear the conversations? No possible way to know the truth! And the senators should never be reelected again by their state.

I know my vote won't go to any republican who refused to allow witnesses and documents thus getting the truth out once and for all, ever again. This is now the party of Trump.

It sure looks like a split.
You are mistaking regional GOP for the mainline national Congressional and Senate GOP
Those guys ride and fall with Trump
The GOP govenor of VT is in different swimming pool than the national guys
That is one reason Romney felt secure in voting against Trump on ONE count
Utah is in his back pocket

And the Sec of Navy is not a national presence—

Someone like Lamar Alexander was the perfect person to put the knife in Trump and he wouldn’t do it
Why???
Cause he is hedging his bet that he might want to run for some state office or want an Ambassadorship at some point
What he said got NO press notice, no roast from Trump because it was like the small print in a new phone contract....no one reads it and it was couched in language designed to obfuscate the meaning
