you continue to spew about corporations when 75% of working americans work for small business, not corporations
by the way the biggest employer in the USA with over 4 million people...the US GOVERNMENT
nope, with communism you don't have your OWN land...no private ownership of ANYTHING
Small business exist in the format large businesses allow. That is why so many small businesses sell through amazon to survive. The time of mom-and-pop shops, local blacksmiths, etc. are gone.
We have international work forces, and that is how all businesses have to organize.
Good grief OP — show us an example of any country where communism has made life better.....
What do you mean by better?
Richer, more consumer choice, more corruption?
Well the Leninist states (not communist) were sanctioned and embargoed by the US and allies so they didn't have access to international markets.
But if you look at communist policy in places from Chiapas to Nebraska, it has given producers more control of their product, limited over consumption, sustained the environment, and increased QUALITY of life.
How many have been exterminated by the United States Military Industrial Complex in the last 20 years alone vs the communists?
The communists are way ahead on that score. The U. S. military is so far behind the Communists in the body count department that it can never catch up, under any circumstances whatsoever.
Not that such a thing should be an aspirational goal, mind you...

while Communism has large concerns so does the present form of Capitalism. No matter how much certain people, mostly on the right may be in denial, Capitalism presently has large systematic flaws and should be examine with a fine tooth comb.
After losing 2 planes Boeing is being given this sort of examination, but yet despite income inequality continuing to increase and things like the college admission scandal, too many people are saying Capitalism doesn't have a problem.
Boeing has problems, but were you aware that the pilot of the Nigerian Airlines flight only had 200 flight hours under his belt? That’s unacceptable! And not Boeing’s fault. I was shocked when I read that. Now I’m wondering about the other pilots.
The communists are way ahead on that score. The U. S. military is so far behind the Communists in the body count deaprtment that it can never catch up, under any circumstances whatsoever.

What is the body count within the last 20 years U.S. Military Complex vs the Communists? That was the question.
Are you sure you aren't a deep-cover right winger?
In any case, Bernie and AOC do not support seizing wealth-generating properties and turning them over to the government (a.k.a. nationalization). They see the current NW European health, education, and job training systems (and the tax policies) are more sensible than current US ones. So landowners can still own their land, homeowners can still own their homes, business owners (even corporation shareholders(!!)) can still own their businesses.
This "Communism's just around the corner" is just sensationalism by right-wing scaremongers. Hate to tell you this, but the more sensationally scary something sounds, the LESS likely it is to be true. Just a tip to you.
BTW, China is best nicknamed CINO - Communist in Name Only. In fact, China's been moving away from Communism since the late 1970s! Private sector is what fueled China's growth to start with. China even has stock exchanges. Sure sounds capitalist to me. So I'm sorry, but Marxism-Leninism, Maoism, etc. is rare on the ground in modern China.
Have you read the GND? How do you propose they’re going to make fossil fuels illegal in ten years without a complete takeover or shut down of hundreds or thousands of companies involved in fossil fuel extraction? What would happen to the private health insurance industry with Medicare for all? How are every homeowner and business going to retrofit their homes and/or buildings to make them more compliant with the new rules? What about banks? The GND says there will be public banks. What then happens to the private banking industry?
Also, what about manufacturers of automobiles, airplanes, and tractors and trailers? What about steel? Where would you get the raw materials to make it?
And don’t even get me started on the racial component of the GND.
I think it might benefit all you supporters to actually read the proposal, and try to think of how these things would be accomplished.

While your 20-year period is arbitrary and unimportant, you'd have to check with the Chinese, a communist regime that is known to supply human organs harvested from political prisoners who generally aren't quite finished using them when called upon to donate.
They probably go through about 100,000 of those guys a year, which merely a statistical blip compared to the entire Chinese population. But you'd need to check with the Chinese for a definitive figure.
Let us know what you find out when you report back.
OMG, we’ve all been brainwashed by the evil corporations. Thank God bmexman is here to save us from our own ignorance by educating us on the wonderful successes of communism.
You are wrong. The college admission scandal has far more to do with the winning at all costs mentality, which far too many conservatives accept or even promote.
The only ones I’ve heard of associated with this scandal are major democratic donors. Kind of weird to tie it to politics rather than acknowledging that rich people on either side will still do whatever it takes to get their kids into college. To them, it’s all about how it looks to others. How could they brag about their kids if they didn’t go to a good school when all their friends’ children got into good schools? Look at Lori Loughlin’s daughter. She had 1.5 million followers on YouTube, had a makeup line at Sephora, had all sorts of advertisers. She even said on her channel that she didn’t really care about school, but she was excited to experience college and the parties. If they had let her work on her business, she wouldn’t be in the position she’s in now. It sounds like her parents pushed her and she wasn’t all that interested in school. Now her legitimate business as an “influencer” is in ruins, and she’s no longer going to USC. Poor kid. I actually feel a bit sorry for her.
