Why would you NOT impeach Trump?! After months of accusing Trump of being a liar who stole the election with the help of the Russians, and accusing him of being an unfit philanderer who faked his wealth so that he could further his position, the Dems now announce that they will not be impeaching him.
WHY!!??
Because it was all a scam, meant for the eyes and ears of the more gullible of the Dem ranks who are most likely to believe it, that's why. It was never true and the Democrat leadership knew it.
The evidence for Russian Collusion came from the Hillary people and it was shaky at best but boy did the Dems eat it up and still are, pinning their hopes and dreams that the election will be overturned and their gal placed into the WH.
It was all a big lie and the only way that they could imagine that Trump won.
We should all wonder what really happened and who did it. I'm talking about how Trump's contacts with foreign powers was described as "COLLUSION!" yet when Hillary did the same it was "opposition research" ??
What I don't understand is how the Left can call Trump a moron, an idiot, a buffoon with some questioning if he even knows how to read while at the same time he is actually a criminal mastermind... Considering that a team of people that hate him have been digging into every single aspect of his life for the last 2 years and they still have not found any evidence of Russian Collusion?

Stop leaving out information. The technicality was that Hillary was Secretary of State, she had access to foreign information due to her role in government (inside information if you will). Trump on the other hand was not in any office and technically cannot have contact with foreign government's without disclosing it during his campaign.
The issue is not the "collusion itself" it's the Trump transition team lying about collusion if any. If they colluded with Russia or whomever they needed to tell the FBI and disclose what it was about. That's all.

Why would the Dems not impeach him? Easy. It's to avoid civil war.
Impeachment over the Russia investigation, even if entirely legitimate, will not be seen that way by Trump's base. For the good of the country it would be better to allow Trump to serve the remainder of his term and instead focus on beating him in 2020.
