So, should Trump be prosecuted just for lying to the bank? By the way, any Trumpers here want to re-evalauate their delusion that Trump was a good businessman? His main skill seems to be talking people out of their money, talking people into operating against their own best interests.
A Mar-a-Lago Weekend and an Act of God: Trump’s History With Deutsche Bank
By David Enrich
As Deutsche Bank considered making the loan, Mr. Trump wooed bankers with flights on his private plane, according to a person familiar with the pitch. In a Trump Tower meeting, he told Mr. Kennedy that his daughter Ivanka would be in charge of the Chicago project, a sign of the family’s commitment to its success.
But there were warning signs. Mr. Trump told Deutsche Bank his net worth was about $3 billion, but when bank employees reviewed his finances, they concluded he was worth about $788 million, according to documents produced during a lawsuit Mr. Trump brought against the former New York Times journalist Timothy O’Brien. And a senior investment-banking executive said in an interview that he and others cautioned that Mr. Trump should be avoided because he had worked with people in the construction industry connected to organized crime...
Mr. Trump and Deutsche Bank were deeply entwined, their symbiotic bond born of necessity and ambition on both sides: a real estate mogul made toxic by polarizing rhetoric and a pattern of defaults, and a bank with intractable financial problems and a history of misconduct.
After multiple bankruptcies, bank lenders didn't want to touch Trump, they had a nick name for him....'The King of Debt'.
Judging by our skyrocketing fiscal deficits, he sure is living up to that nick name.
Yes, but now suddenly Republicans have seen the "increase spending and ignore the deficit" light. They would have continued to tear Obama down if the deficit continued to sky-rocket like this on his watch.
So dumb. People should do what is right and not treat politics like a sporting event.
So, should Trump be prosecuted just for lying to the bank? By the way, any Trumpers here want to re-evalauate their delusion that Trump was a good businessman? His main skill seems to be talking people out of their money, talking people into operating against their own best interests.

Deutsche Bank has been teetering towards destruction for several years and it's involvement with Trump does not come as any surprise.
Over the last 10 years, Deutsche Bank has lost €600bn of assets and its market capitalisation is down more than 60 per cent. Commerzbank has gained around £100bn or so in total assets during the same time, but has lost over 50% of it smarket capitalisation.
They now plan toi merge the two banks and make an even bigger failing bank, just like the other banks that were supposedly two big to fail.
The cost of the merger will be significant and includes over 30,000 jobs at both banks, although the head of Deutsche Bank has jusy given himself a large pay rise.
So, should Trump be prosecuted just for lying to the bank? By the way, any Trumpers here want to re-evalauate their delusion that Trump was a good businessman? His main skill seems to be talking people out of their money, talking people into operating against their own best interests.
Dear.
The New York Times, along with the most of the MSM, is now thoroughly discredited and disgraced over Russiagate. How many topics did you post here by them that started out as being untrue?
Got any proof of any of this that ISN'T their "opinion"?
Otherwise, thinking America knows that it's all untrue.
