Today's Trump supporters compare very much to the KKK crowd of the 1920's. It is also prevalent in many of the same parts of the country.

The Klan blended xenophobia, religious prejudice, and white supremacy together with a broadly conservative moralism. The Klan advocated the restoration of “true Americanism”. Presenting itself in part as a Christian moral reform organization and in part as a vehicle for entrenching the economic and political power of white Anglo-Saxon Protestants, the Klan flourished with the promise that energetic white nationalism and traditional morals would hold back the tides of modernity and ensure that forces scheming to undermine the authority of native-born white Americans would be kept at bay.

When Bigotry Paraded Through the Streets
A century ago, millions of Americans banded together in defense of white, Christian America and traditional morality—and most of their compatriots turned a blind eye to the Ku Klux Klan.

This is only sort of partly true.

What Russia did was, through very targeted social media messages, send spurious info to vulnerable voters (the "deplorables") who were likely to believe just about anything. These folks, in turn, were convinced through their belief in false info that Donald was the guy who was going to help them out. Or that Hillary was the devil reincarnate (which actually might be true!).

Hence, you get states like Michigan where the margin of popular votes was tiny...like 10,000 or so. Just enough to get the electoral votes needed to get the clown elected.

So far, the deplorables haven't gotten a damned thing, but through these rallies, their belief in the info they were fed has not been destroyed.

Yet.

Trumps a SOCIALIST.
He s making the profit.

"socialism will never come to america"
It s already HERE...up There on the podium.

Fools.

Especially the Farmers.
Next thing to go....Farmland goes to the government. Land owners are nevermore and are now the government workers on their previously owned land..they ll call them..."sharecroppers" that would be original.

To get re-elected.

And I think as a marketing tool.

When the folks go crazy it appears that everyone loves him.

There is the basic belief that we will all buy into what he is selling if we see the crowds.

It works for the base, it doesn't work for independents or critics of Trump -- and that's who matters right now.

Putins guys shoot people in broad daylight. Like opposing candidates. Throw acid on them as well etc..

Then vindictively follow others to the ends of the earth to murder them.

Sounds like we ve got potential twinning going on here !!

Both think they are great because their evil cant be stopped.

If those rural folk cheering at the mocking of the disabled and weak in our country, fuss about turning over their crops to Kushner and donning field hand overalls...they will face the same mocking ...and retribution.

By then the populus will be so weak from lack of medical care that Trump could "push someone off their own land with his pinky and still get elected."

Its coming folks.
Unless you stop it.

Trump also purchased his own polls to appear he was winning.

Lots of people rely on those to make up their minds.

He s being watched closely now so I kinda doubt he can do that this time around.

Lke hype ing his fake succesfull casinos...bottom drops out once Feds were on to him. He just walks away.

What's your point? That 140,000 people had nothing better to do with their night than listen to the umpteenth rerun of The Donald Trump worship ceremony?

Glad he got rid of the mandate which now makes ACA unconstitutional, according to Justice Roberts.

I think you're angry because he is actually keeping his promises and that is aggravating the left to no end.
Dems are not to blame. The Republicans have been a majority during the entire time they promised they would come up with a replacement for ACA. Instead, Trump rallies and vacations every weekend. He certainly makes healthcare needs of Americans a priority, doesn't he?

NONE of this works until congress no longer mandates the American population pays(Typically 3x to 5x) but up to 500x what the populations of other western countries do.

This will happen on the first of never since big pharma OWNS congress.

Does anyone know if he spoke about his bump stock ban or his taxpayer-funded family leave plan?
