I mean, really. Who do they have?

1) A bunch of far-leftists who are trying to bribe their way to a win: free college! free health care! student loan forgiveness! reparations! guaranteed minimum wage! free day care!

2) An old white guy who not only wants to give the free stuff (see above) to everyone but also wants to give murderers and rapists currently in prison the vote

3) A creepy old white guy who very weirdly caresses young girls in public and is predicating his campaign on the other side being racists (the old "they'll have you back in chains!!" alarmist)

Biden can easily beat Trump.

The average lead out of these five polls is almost 8%. What ought to stand out to you is that every single one of these polls shows Biden ahead by a minimum of 5 percentage points. Even that phony Rasmussen Poll has Biden over Trump.

A lot will happen between now and election day and its far from certain if Biden can capture the democratic nomination. However, if he does and if Trump continues on the same trajectory that he has for the last two and one-quarter years Biden will beat him.

HIllary supporters believed the polls in 2016.

The OP is absolutely correct in both her question and her synopsis. The Dems don't stand a chance with any of the current crop. It's those very actions that are a reflection of their hopeless desperation. Their ONLY hope would be for Trump to implode (or be taken down) either through catastrophic blunder or actual irrefutable evidence of criminal wrongdoing to surface.

Barring that, I don't see Trump losing. Assuming of course he decides to run.

And yes. As more proof (as if we needed it) that the Left just doesn't learn is that polls mean absolutely nothing. Especially this early in the cycle. Twenty months is an eternity in politics. As another poster said above. They were so convinced. Right up until Election Day....that Hillary had it in the bag; that it 'belonged to her', 'it was her turn', ad nauseum.

Then they got a very brutal reality check.

Joe will be hot today. Someone else tomorrow. Rinse. Repeat.

So not only are they making the same mistakes of two and three years ago, but all new ones on top of that.

I agree that based on everything I've read, there's no one who running on the Democratic ticket that is correct for the white house.

Unfortunately, Trump's failure may overcome that fact... and we may end up with an extreme liberal in office. Either way, it's going to be a horrible next 4 years.

I think any Democrat has a chance against Trump because the Left has been working every single day since he won the nomination to discredit and demonize the guy. He can't even have 2 scoops of ice cream without CNN criticizing him.

The news has been so anti negative Trump that there are many that believe the drivel.

I don't believe polls either. How can anyone forget the polls in 2016 that were all saying that Hillary was going to win in an embarrassing landslide.

The thing is with Trump he needs people to turn out and vote for him. Hillary was such a mess of scandals and people were so tired of Obama that Trump had a chance. If the Dems select one of these far out wackos that are for open borders, banning guns and turning America into a socialist nation then people will come out in mass to block it but if someone that is more middle of the road like Uncle Joe Biden then I think Trump will have a tougher time of it.

I've heard that over and over again.

Its a statement that attempts no analysis. Only a fool would reject the results of five separate polls that are uncontradicted by any other survey.

The polls were within l.2% of being correct in 2016. The reason Trump won the election is because of 77,000 votes in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

A 7.8% margin in five polls is not made up. It exists. Its just a question of the margin of error. The margin of error is about 3% So in other words, Biden's lead could be anywhere between 4.8% or 10.8%.

What does this mean? If I were Trump, I would pray Biden doesn't win the democratic nomination.

Yep, at this time the Demonicrats got nothing going. Their pollsters may show a lead but it's just like them showing Hillary leading, Trump is going to crush the blue bloodbath crazy show survivor.

The Democrats Have Nobody Who Can Beat Trump

The Democrats always put people first. They care about working people, consumers and the vulnerable. Democrats have empathy.

I am looking forward to the debates. The party is bubbling with great ideas. This upcoming primary season will be very interesting.
