Let me get this one right........

Trump ran on being an isolationist...not getting involved and saving 100's of billions on the military.

So far he has only spent MORE on them.....and, our new "zero" is that when we get intelligence about some country somewhere possibly planning an attack on our forces SOMEWHERE...probably in a place we should not be (ala the Don), then we send Aircraft Carriers in???????

Yeah, this sounds right. Proportional response.

My, it truly amazes me how we are always looking to spend trillions on the very thought that some Americans who are occupying the world somewhere may not be welcomed.

Apparently you think this country has some kind of moral high ground that allows it to bomb, maim and kill citizens of other nations, all without any counter response from those attacked.

Guess what? You're dead wrong.
Trump has changed the playbook and Iran and others don't know how to react. They are hoping and praying for an attack so they can once again rekindle the glory days of the ar with Iraq. Alas, they won't get the bombs they are wishing for. Closing the Hormuz Strait is so 80s. Try navigating the financial markets instead. Missiles and midget subs won't help. Sending kids to walk over minefields doesn't apply either. You could exit JCPOA that you were threatening to do just about every other day until Trump called your bluff. Now they are taking pride in staying with it.

Why would you “quake in your boots” in fear of Iran? LMAO...stop being so dramatic.

Attack Iran, and you’ll REALLY be quaking in your boots.

He said he is going to stay out of wars and has. He did NOT say he won't be spending on the military. In fact, he repeatedly said the military is in shambles and is scavenging old equipment.

Keep wishing it but the bombs won't be coming.

Where are the battlefields? Yemen and Syria, and just about everywhere else other than Iran.

Yes, but only if you could explain who is fighting who with what and for what purpose.

Why, I don’t know. It’s an L for us right off the bat, and a really bad and embarrassing one at that. We can’t win it. The Trump-Bolton-Pompeo troika won’t tell you that, but I thought that you should know.

Tell your president to cool his heels before he gets us into another intractable conflict that we’ll never get out of and can’t win. Don’t know what you guys find so appealing about a Persian version of the Vietnam War on steroids. Guess you didn’t learn from Iraq or our present losing venture in Afghanistan. SMH
Tell all that to your democrat "intelligence" community.

Well, as usual - he said everything.........so he always wins because if you take all sides of every issue you can never be wrong!

"The foreign policy positions expressed by Trump during his presidential campaign changed frequently, making it "difficult to glean a political agenda, or even a set of clear, core policy values ahead of his presidency." During his presidential inauguration speech, Trump said that during his presidency the U.S. would "not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example. We will shine for everyone to follow." He also stated that his administration would "seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world," and that he understands the "right of all nations to put their own interests first."

I don't see anything there about occupying the world and not thinking that other nations have interests...including chasing us out of certain places!

You're either for or against U.S. support for the Saudi war in Yemen. Why is your position dependent upon the opinion of an internet forum poster?
