Of course the correct answer is to save the child.
A human child is worth more than a thousand embryos. Or ten thousand. Or a million. Because they are not the same, not morally, not ethically, not biologically.
No one actually believes life begins at conception. No one believes embryos are babies or children. Those who claim to are trying to manipulate and control women.

Uh, I believe that life starts at conception and that embryos are kids/babies. However, I am not about to use pro-life (which I also am) junk science to manipulate/control women. You should have added "try to save both" for the polling options!

Who's no one? I believe that life does begin at conception. Embryos are still human. Why would anyone want to control women? If you think that's the agenda of the pro-lifers you are badly mistaken. This is about preserving life, not destroying it.
But I would save the child if I had to make a choice and that's the way I voted in your poll.

No, it's not.
That's the part that seems to be constantly missed. Do you want to save the pregnant woman or do you want to save the fetus?
I mean, ideally, you want to save both, but what if that is just not possible?

I already stated that if the pregnant woman's life was in danger by going through the 9 months and having to give birth I would save the mother. That's not usually the case though. Most women who have an abortion do so because they just don't want to be inconvienced by their irresponsibility.
The poll was about saving some embryos or a living child. I stated how I voted on that one. I would save the living child.
But that's assuming that they were going to be placed in a space ark that would allow the colonization of a human hospitable planet in a different solar system. Given that scenario the choice seems clear, IMHO.
