The left wants you to accept equal outcomes for unequal contributions. Their equality is a false equality meant to placate the masses and keep the bureaucrats safely attached to the levers of power. Under the left, freedom is disguised as consumerism, and you are allowed to enjoy that as long as you don't say or do anything that might upset the folks in power. You don't live for yourself and your path in life is directly proportional to the degree the government favors you over others. There is no self-determination, and the state is prolific in every aspect of your life. The so-called utopia of the left withers the human spirit because it is a myth designed to enrich the lives of others at your expense.

Me thinks you may be a bit overboard with the bluster radio stuff, those who make such sweeping statements about either side are usually the ones who can be considered the extreme factions of both sides. Unfortunately, the CD forums seem to attract these kinds of posters, so it's not really thought of as a valid source of opinion. I'd say that most of America wants more affordable health care, either by government edict, or, through some type of mass consumer action the could possibly allow for a huge private enterprise (Amazon) to begin the march toward a national health collective. The other big concern for us all is our labor laws and the government's support of the citizen against that collective of corporate power which has undermined our democracy.
There is no "utopia" of the left, further, there is no obvious attempt to create equal outcomes with regard to contribution. The left has done more to combat the mindlessness of corporate encouraged consumerism, the left has been more active in labor relations while those on the conservative end has traditionally been anti union, and pro business. Your views are more apt to fit the description of an extreme side of the American left, but certainly fails to offer a definitive view of the average lefty.
Most of those of the left persuasion want our tax dollars to help society as a whole, while the conservative bent has traditionally been associated with tax relief for our wealthiest corporations, not to mention the fact of our huge defense cost being a basic mugging of the American taxpayer, and, that defense becomes an offense, for the purpose of obtaining natural resources from other sovereign entities. Your post seems to reflect the vitriol of those who feel the left is a polar opposite of the right, but in practice, most of us want a responsive government, one that serves the majority, and moreover, one that isn't ran by corporate power.
I think most of us would agree that as a general rule, conservatives are comfortable with things as they are, whereas most of the issues favored by the progressive advocacy would require action by the legislative branch and/or the public sector in some form.
So I'd like to ask the guys and gals over on the other side of the divide what's most important to them, and how they would attain those goals.
And also, as with most of us here over on thee right side of the split, are there parts of the broad-spectrum conservative ideology you can live with?

aka Communism, it's kind of what those secretive groups want for the world and America is the only roadblock to accomplishing it. Best system to maintain the status quo because the sheeple are waking up faster than anticipated.
Integrity in our elected public officials would be nice. Get dark money out of politics, and we would be a long way toward dealing with that problem. This is issue number one, all the rest follows.
They only want division where people are afraid to leave their homes, talk with their neighbors, fear to speak up and advocate for peaceful neighborhoods to grow up in because children are inherently racist unless they're impoverished or impoverished and brown. Safe communities are the antithesis to the left who value anarchy and despair just because everyone is more "equal" to the various leftist factions that can't stop pointing the finger to whoever isn't part of the groupthink, the most obvious person who's different from you for the responsibility of your woes. A world where everyone is preyed on by drug dealers offering the cheapest fix to escape the hellish reality the left calls utopian.

Conservatives and progressives are not synonymous with Republicans and Democrats. I think you're really just talking about desire to change. There are plenty of ways that Republicans would be willing to use the legislative branch to accomplish new goals.
Except you cannot name a big government policy that worked. And you won't even try to answer.

This is me going off hand in a few seconds.. Are they completely fool proof? Nope.. But try functioning without these and see how our country would hold up

They seem to be very very miserable people. Unhappy about everything, intolerant of any viewpoint beyond their own, even to the point of violence, and very very noisy.
Maybe they want everyone else to be as miserable as they are.
