I think people forget or never knew that one of the reasons we are keeping children separate from adults was due to lack of family facilities to keep them together led to them living in “general population” along with hordes of filthy child molesters who couldn’t keep their hands off the children. Go back several years and refresh yourself on stories of the high numbers of sexual assault that were being reported on at the time. Something HAD to be done. It’s certainly not ideal, and somehow we have managed to screw it up and separate families far longer than we should. But it was a move made to solve a problem that has just created more problems.
Folks, options are limited for ANY country faced with such a crisis. Solutions take time and cooperation.
And then there is this for the whiners about kids being separated from their parents.

The injunction also permits family separation when a parent is deemed a danger to the child".
There are child trafficers among these phony parents also. They are bringing kids with them that are not theirs to gain sympathy and entry into our country. From what I understand they are doing DNA tests now to stop this problem.

parents are arrested at the border and criminally charged with illegal entry. Due to these criminal charges, protocol does not allow the child to be kept with the parent because the child is not criminally prosecuted, and you can NOT release children out into the jungle of cities etc ALONE
Exactly, and we don't even jail American kids with their law breaking parents. Why should these migrant families be treated differently?

I don't understand why this concept is so difficult to grasp for some folks. It's what happens when ANYONE is arrested for breaking the law, they don't throw the kids in jail with the parents.

What a crock! Dog kennels? Now you lefties have gone from calling them concentration camps to dog kennels? lol! Once again, it was Obama that put kids in cages first. He didn't have to deal with 20,000 marching up to our border all at once and having to feed, clothe, provide healthcare for that many all at once. Why haven't the Democrats given Trump the funding he has requested to deal with this crisis?
