Socialists love other people's money. Bernie is no exception.

Here he is admitting that just about everyone working in the USA will be paying much higher taxes should he be President. Higher taxes to pay medical costs for illegals.

Can he get elected. Nothing would shock me.

Especially after we elected Gov Murphy who ran on a "I'm raising taxes ticket"

Sounds like a bargain compared to what I(and employer) are paying for insurance.

But anyway this isn’t something a president can do alone. I don’t think anyone expects the dems to take control of everything in 2020 elections.

According to this article, 51% of Americans make less than $30,000 a year, so that is quite a bite in taxes.

It's a big bite. It works out to $13.94/hour for a full time job.

That average family would also be getting "Medicare for everyone" and at $1,200. per year, it would be a bargain.

All it really is is his plan to make the undeserving rich pay their "fair share". Just like Gov. O'Malley did in Maryland. An upper class person making $31K/year can afford to help his fellow citizens.

And those families would be getting the level and quality of care they paid for. Long lines for everything, waiting months for surgeries that need to happen now, and if you can't wait that long, oh well. This is the side that says gulags were great, transformed people into upstanding working class citizens and paid fair wages, there are things more important than rule of law, etc, etc, so I believe America would get what they vote for if they elect a deadbeat socialist loser.

1200 a year is a bargain compared to what most people pay now for medical costs.

Wait. Do you have ANY experience in what Medicare truly costs those who are on it. Please be specific.
