There's that myth again. Real family income grew by 6% under Reagan. The rich got richer but so did the middle class and the poor.

Good luck with that. That’s precisely how Trump got elected, liberals pushed the envelope and you got Trump.

Here he is admitting that just about everyone working in the USA will be paying much higher taxes should he be President. Higher taxes to pay medical costs for illegals.

What do you mean love other people's money? Don't liberals have to pay taxes, on the taxes they raise, too?

Trump got elected by stealing Bernie's policy issues but not following thru. Where's the healthcare? Where's the infrastructure? Was that draining the swamp or filling the swamp? Trump's tax cut benefitted the wealthy and he's horrible at negotiating trade deals. That would be Bernie's idea too btw.

But here's the real glaring difference...Bernie is a good man, a genuine statesman and an honest player. Trump is sociopathic and dead inside.

But to a lot of conservatives on here that that is pretty bad idea, because there would be too many deadbeats and con artists taking advantage of "Medicare for everyone".

So no doubt to you too many poor people and deadbeats not worthy of medical care would be eager to get in line for it, making everybody else wait longer.

That’s really not that unreasonable if he’s exempting the first $29,000? In fact, $1,200/year for the preferred “family of 4” is damm cheap-it’s more evidence of giving free stuff. IF the family has coverage through an employer, they are likely paying a higher premium than that. It’s only $100/mo- damm free loaders!!
The losers in these programs are usually higher-earning individuals and single ppl. Doubly screwed if single AND high earning.
Would he have a different income threshold exemption for singles, families and head of household like a tax return has? It also doesn’t take into account that $60,000 in a high cost metro area is def not the same as living in flyover.

Since the employers would presumably not provide health insurance anymore, I wonder if it would lead to higher raises to make up for what it would have paid for in the form of health benefits?

Trump supporters seem far more concerned about illegal immigrants being in this country more than anything else. Most of them already have good health care, so don't miss Trump not getting ObamaCare abolished and replacing it with something better.

Pocahontas wants to stop everyone from building new houses because it's bad. (she can't really say why and of course isn't prepared to give up her various mansions)

And a barely lucid Biden who can't tell you which state he's in at the moment.

Such winners. This truly might be a repeat of 1984 & 1972.

The only one in the bunch who has any common sense and a veteran to boot, the Democrats don't want because they are afraid of him being Gay. It's lunacy at it's worst.
There is good reason for them to fear “the gay”. Although a lot of the anti-gay mostly vote Republican anyway, the blacks, macho guys, third world country immigrants and others would not vote for him. All it would take would be swift-boating ads from dark money groups that would show commercials with Pete and his husband. It was done with great success in the early 00s.

So what you are saying is that the Democrat party is truly homophobic. And because of it, the Democrat choice instead of this forward looking veteran, are 3 daft very old Senators who have no accomplishments to their names after years in office with these loony plans.
