Scotland does £11 Billions worth of trade with Europe and £55 Billion with England.

Scotland has more debt than any other part of the UK due to itrs budget deficit and it's going to get worse as the world moves away from fossil fuels and it's left with decommisioning costs.

How will the petrol and diesel ban work? - BBC News

Even if Scotland were alliowed to join the EU, it would have to join the Euro, as all new members now have to, and it would have a hard border with England.

Hard border and tariffs would weaken platform for Scots - The Times

Independence over EU membership would make Scotland 'Greece without the sun', think tank warns - ITV News

Scotland has an estimated nominal gross domestic product (GDP) of up to £152 billion in 2015, whilst London had a GDP of £408 billion or $765 billion in 2016, and England has a GDP of over $2 Trillion, as for Wales it's GDP is £61 Billion and Northern Ireland has a GDP of £27.4bn (€37.8bn).

A left wing socialist Scotland, competing for business with England will do wonders for Northern England, and Scotland will have to take care of it's own defence, so the Russians will be basically free to sail their warships and subs off the Scottish coast unhindered and fly their aircraft over Scotland.

Northern Ireland voted remain, 56-44. Theresa May's colossal backfire of an election forced the Tories to build a coalition based on the DUP, a pro-British party that campaigned against the Good Friday agreement and was involved with Protestant paramilitary units.

They have no reason to care if the Good Friday agreement is torn down and violence begins again. Their entire existence is rooted in the idea that Ireland is much better off under British rule. Although, as Brave New World points out, right now they're mostly focused on grabbing as much money as they can in return for shoring up the incredibly shaky government.

And the blunderer-in-chief had to put the NHS out there. Normally Boris Johnson would kill off the NHS in 2.8 seconds if he and his buddies could become marginally richer in doing so, but not at the cost staying on as PM. Futzing around with the NHS is not going to do anything to prolong his stay at number 10.

I think Corbyn and the Labour Party anti-semitism scandal may hand Johnson enough ammunition to win an election, whilst Labour's Tom Watson has been embroilled in a scandal in which false claims of paedophila were made about many senior people and the person Watson believed Carl Beech turned out to be a paedophile himself. Those accused included Lord Bramall, former Head of the British Army who stormed the beaches on D-Day and the accusations were ridiculous. Thankfully the accuser Carl Beech who was backed by Watson who condemned people as peadophiles in the Commons and wrote to the police and other authorities demanding action, was found guilty in Crown Court earlier this week and will be sentenced tomorrow.

Poll: Support for Jeremy Corbyn's Labour plummets to lowest ever level - Business Insider

Labour poll support at record low | News | The Times

In terms of Johnsons pledges he is actually offering an end to austerity, an extra 20,000 police, more hospital building programmes, more GP's, 5G Broadband for the whole UK, a review of transport policy and investment.

Johnson has also promised to sort out Social Care in relation to those who suffer dementia and Johnson is to scrap the planned introduction of TV licenses for over 75 year olds.

Johnson is clever and is actually offering the country and people things unlike Theresa May who only ever offered austerity and cuts.

Johnson is also a good speaker, far better than May and managed to win two Mayoral elections in London for the Conservatives, a traditiuonally more liberal left wing city.

Corbyn is very unpopular, and Labour have had there lowest polling ever in recent months and they aren't in Government, and the Liberal Democrats under new leader Jo Swinton may win over some traditional Labour voters.

It is however important that Johnson delivers Brexit, as the biggest threat to the Tories is Farage and his Brexit party if Johnson fails to deliver.

Incorrect as is the rest of your post. You really seem to have no idea what's going on in regards to this.

So did Theresa May. Your point? N. Ireleand isn't going to rejoin Ireland. That's nonsense. The coalition with the DUP remains.

DUP is honest - they stay bought. But there's a difference between Northern Ireland and the DUP - you know that, right?

No he doesn’t...yet claims that everyone that disagrees with him is clueless.

Basically his knowledge of Brexit extends to “Trump supports it.”

Yeah, it’s completely obvious that you have little to no knowledge of Europe’s affairs. All you know about Brexit is that Trump wants it, so you do too.

Other posters have been too nice to tell you the truth. You know absolutely NOTHING about Europe.

In 1912, 500,000 protestants signed the Ulster Covenant and swore to fight to the death if they were forced to join the South, they even had a 100,000 strong militia known as the Ulster Volunteers.

Since this time Northern Ireland has had it's own Parliament at Stormont ion Belfast and enjoys lot of devolved powers, indeed most of the time it runs itself, and it receives subsidies from the UK Government, indeed thge DUP managed to secure an extra £1.5 billion from Theresa May in order that they formed a coaltionb Government. So the Northern Irish have done very well out oif Brexit.

I see poverty and continuing budget cuts by a conservative government, nothing materialized after the 1998 peace agreement but alt least they have an open border. Other than that Northern Ireland has fallen well behind the UK. Two years without a local government.
