Cultural issues being anything such as abortion, LGBT issues, guns, patriotism, religion, traditional values, etc. Economic issues being the economy, jobs, unemployment, etc. Throw things like medicare for all and other social safety nets in with that as well. What issues are more important to you and what ultimately decides your vote?

I think that cultural and economic issues are intertwined.

I think that as long as we have people thinking that it is okay to mooch off others (culture), the economy will be affected to at least some degree.

(I am an exact in-the-middle Moderate, btw.)

Retired, with grown kids who will always be ok. We will always get by on what we have, so no personal money worries. I am very concerned about the national debt. Pretty soon all we will be paying is interest. One of my kids ran up a credit card while in school. We made her come home, sell her car to pay the debt, and stay home for re tooling. It took her a while to realize paying interest was stupid. It was our opinion that she was not ready to be on her own

Right now, at this point in time, I am concerned for the country.

I watched JFK, Robert, MLK, Emmet Till, those kids in the church that was blown up, the LA riots, the civil rights movement, anti Viet Nam movement, the ERA and feminist movement, abortion providers killed and all the rest.

I have never seen such pure dehumanizing of the 'other POV'. It's like any person we don't agree with 100% is evil. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, however they got it.

My other concern is politicians who get elected and then sit on their butts until time for them to retire.

Poll only applied to Democrats and Republicans, of which I am neither.

The most important issue to me is the government's very existence, which I would gladly be rid of, but in a pinch, I will settle for any reduction of its size, reach, power, cost, etc whenever and wherever I can get it.

I cannot vote for that, since there is never a candidate nor a ballot measure that promises to end, get rid of or reduce something. But if such a person or measure came along, I'd happily vote for te message if nothing else.

Very hard to participate in the poll as a non Republican and non Democrat who cares about various other things.

I'm not answering since moral and ethical issues are much more important than either of those. I could care less if people Salsa Dance or if the Government changes interest rates by 1/2 point.

That's not where our problems lie.
