You have it backward. Trump was elected to prevent a greater build of power by the federal government (i.e. The Swamp) and therefore to stop the buildup of tyrannical power by the government. The increasing size of the federal government at the expense of state and local control is the single largest threat to liberty this country faces.

No. The real rulers know to simply buy congress to get 80% of what they want. The last 20% is not worth the drama of putting bullets in people so they humor us.
