What about all the people with pitchforks? They're everywhere!

I already have. I lived in Seattle (Wallingford) for 10 years. I moved to the Eastside. The worst crime I have witnessed or suffered over here is ME, running in the Downtown Bellevue Park after 10PM closing.

It is gormless to think the key focus here is the use of a pitchfork per se.

As bad as that incident is, and I'm very sorry about what happened to said person, Seattle isn't the only place this is happening in. I just posted a link about a transient man in Oklahoma City who attacked a woman outside of a government building.

This incident in Atlanta. A stabbing took place near Piedmont Park, and this wasn't in the ghetto.

Atlanta is also a huge human trafficking hub.

And its not just a big city issue. Happens in small towns also. Just doesn't make the national news.

I remember when my stepdad was driving me to school one morning, we once saw some crazy dude patrolling a bus stop with this giant medieval-looking hatchet around 7 in the morning. He looked pretty angry and ready to swing that thing lol.

No idea where he'd manage to find something like that in the city we lived in, but my stepdad refused to let me take the bus to school after seeing that...

Five whole miles? Still living in the Seattle metro? Bold move! Be careful, we have pitchforks here on the Eastside too, we use them for...gardening! Idaho might be safer!

Probably stole it from someplace the Park Department was working on.

I think it's more like 10 miles. And it's more like infinity in terms of crime. Can't get past your pitchfork fixation huh? Let me spell it out S_L_O_W_L_Y. It's about crime, homelessness, and drugs G_E_N_E_R_A_L_Y, not about pitchforks per se.

It's in the title of the post. And the 520 bridge is 1.5 miles long so actually, closer. Beware of pitchforks! Don't worry, Idaho is only a short drive away, safer and much more conservative.
