Europe has a long history of tolerating and even embracing totalitarianism and authoritarian government. For centuries they have been told what to do and say by kings, Lords, Dukes, and leftist dictators. The very founding of our nation was a rebellion against that type of thing. Our national traditions call for personal liberties and freedom. Freedom of speech is a cornerstone of all our freedom.

The very idea of hate speech laws is very un American, the idea that any Americans want this in our nation is shocking. This is not who we are, it is who they are (Europeans)
