How does the fact its unsigned make it suspicious?

Federal agencies issue statements all the time through their Public Affairs Offices without signature.

Whoever WROTE it(may be more than one person) it is now the official position of NOAA issued with the knowledge approval of the NOAA Acting Director. If it were not, he would have disavowed it.

Because no one wants to claim it as their own.

The Real Reason Why Donald Trump Said That Alabama Was in the Path of Hurricane Dorian | Blogging/Citizen Journalism

If they wanted to giving us a laugh, they miss the target by that much.

Well, unless they assign it to someone you can assume it belongs to the Acting Director of NOAA.

Do you think the NOAA Public Affairs Officer issued a statement without his approval? Would you in that position?

Do you think the Acting Director of NOAA wouldn't disavow it if it weren't the current official position of NOAA? If you were the Acting Director of NOAA and you didn't agree with it, wouldn't you disavow it?

Apply common sense.

Bottom line? the hurricane came nowhere near Alabama.
Odd how some are putting much faith in the doctored NOAA maps repleat with sharpie extentions but refuse to put any Faith in what NOAA says about global warming.https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/monitoring...al-warming.php

America. Where a man gets elected but it doesn't matter how he communicates as long as he gets the job done.

Its easy enough to imagine Trump ordering staff to "Get a piece of NOAA letter head, write a statement supporting my comments and release it."

When you sit in the Oval Office, you can do anything you want.

It matters a great deal how he communicates, for a whole lot of reasons. So many very important issues that he needs to be very clear on, you can't leave people scratching their heads on the time.
