Not much we can debate here. We can debate what the 2nd amendment says, what the FF intended it to say, what it means currently, and what kind of regulations can be passed that are in line with the 2nd amendment.
Arguing about if people should be free to own guns or if the government should be responsible for personal safety is like arguing that ribeye tastes better than ny strip.
Seriously, Alyssa Milano is pretty unhinged these days. If Cruz can manage to portray Democrats as the party of Milano, he scores big-time. Or he could just do the debate and outsource the portrayal work to Trump.
IIRC Cruz was some kind of debate champ during his school days. He had memorized the entire US Constitution in his early teens. Alan Dershowitz, who was his law prof at Harvard, said that Cruz was "off the charts brilliant."
Lots of boys were basketball champs in high school too. Kids learn skills young and abandon them later all the time. If every kid who showed promise actually stayed as sharp as an adult, we would be living in a different universe.
The bar will be so low for Milano that it will be hard for anyone to take this exchange seriously.
LMAO. Truly. I can already hear the nonsensical terminology pounding out like a heavy rain on a tin roof being lapped up by a panting media. Milano will sound like a third grader trying to talk about quantum physics. And actually taking herself seriously, which the media will of course encourage and praise her in depth knowledge and technical expertise on the subject of firearms.
At least she's willing to debate instead of just shooting her mouth off in glib two-sentence quips.
This, i actually admire her for this, the usually far leftest will just yell at you trying to shame you by calling you a racist. Now we will see if she is actually respectful in the debate and argues on the merits instead of the insults.
I will only watch if she takes her shirt off. Which she's done in every movie as an adult, so it is a good bet.
