Three fewer career criminals, who may have escalated to murder, off the streets.

No, you need to get your facts straight! They were on their way to bible study class.

The three teens allegedly approached the home and attempted to rob three people in the front yard, the sheriff's office said Monday night. One of the attempted robbery suspects purportedly brandished a handgun and fired shots at the residents before one returned fire. All three attempted robbery suspects were killed during the exchange, authorities said.

The victims of the attempted robbery were all uninjured. No charges have been filed against anyone in the case.

A homeowner fired upon by a robbery suspect returns fire. I agree this warrants no charges against the homeowner.

I love a story with a happy ending. Thanks for sharing!

I'm sure that once again liberals will once again wring their hands for the violent thugs that assumed room temperature and demonize the victims that defended themselves. WHy is it that liberals empathize more with violent criminals than with their victims?

In California the homeowner would have been charged with murder while the liberal politicians lamented over the deaths of these poor misguided youths.

I don't like to play Monday morning quarterback, as we really don't know for sure what he was dealing with. However, I wouldn't leave the safety of my home to engage criminals outside. That is what 911 is for. Now, if they actually enter your home, different story. Obviously, this guy thought they were a legitimate threat to him and his family so thought it worth it to go outside.

Think of all the crimes they would have committed if they lived- a life wasted.

I'm sure several of their associates will "carry the banner" and increase their allotment of crimes to compensate for this terrible loss.

Sad but I find it interesting that the family of the robbers is wondering why the victim was on their own property at 4AM. Uh, why were your kids trying to rob someone?

Looks like self defense, but why all the glee about three dead 15 yr olds?

Like someone mentioned, why were there three people standing on the driveway at 4AM with an AR-15? Were the kids delivering drugs to them? Something's off with this story.
