Why didn't Schiff just admit this from the jump instead of the NYT outing him if "proper protocol was followed"? This is why I do not trust the government to do anything without being skeevy behind the scenes liars.

They don't choose to. They also don't choose to read anything other than far right-wing fantasy websites...

The phone call transcript corroborates the complaint, Trump and Giuliani admitted they contacted Zellenskyy for favors. The transcript was redacted and edited but is only one phone call or meeting, the WB complaint was broader.

The transcript proves the WB did not have all the facts and proved some points incorrect.

Why is it an issue for the committee to tell the WB to get a lawyer, he came to them.

What whistleblower law will not allow a complaint if the complainant has first made another contact that informed him to go to the IG?

Would you apply the same reasoning to the whistleblower first contacting the C.I.A. general counsel (who went right to the White House)?

It's fine to make a complaint if it only finds its way immediately to the entity being complained about (which he/she knew).

But not okay to contact the prospective investigative body to ask what to do next.

That is verifiable false.

The transcript proved all of the WB's claims of wrongdoing were false.
