Nothing in US Code, Executive banch regs or Legislative branch regs does either,..
Well, you're dead wrong about that. According to Title 26 of US Internal Revenue Code:
"1) Committee on Ways and Means, Committee on Finance, and Joint Committee on Taxation
Upon written request from the chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives, the chairman of the Committee on Finance of the Senate, or the chairman of the Joint Committee on Taxation, the Secretary shall furnish such committee with any return or return information specified in such request, except that any return or return information which can be associated with, or otherwise identify, directly or indirectly, a particular taxpayer shall be furnished to such committee only when sitting in closed executive session unless such taxpayer otherwise consents in writing to such disclosure.
Upon written request by the Chief of Staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation, the Secretary shall furnish him with any return or return information specified in such request. Such Chief of Staff may submit such return or return information to any committee described in paragraph (1), except that any return or return information which can be associated with, or otherwise identify, directly or indirectly, a particular taxpayer shall be furnished to such committee only when sitting in closed executive session unless such taxpayer otherwise consents in writing to such disclosure."
Ways and Means Chairman Neal has requested those returns, and Treasury Secretary Mnuchin is breaking the law by refusing to provide them. Mnuchin's argument is that Neal doesn't have any legitimate legislative purpose for seeing the returns, but as you see, the statute does not require the Chairman to provide any specific purpose.
So, whats the number then...lets say the left lies 10 times...are they now a liar? or is the number 20, 30, 40, 50....???
Is is a liar a liar...?
If someone is the most lying public figure in reported history per Polifact, then, yeah, that's pretty horrible.
Again, Dotard doesn't just lie, he lies more than any public figure in recorded history. He essentially is incapable of saying anything resembling the truth. When he opens his mouth, or tweets, one can safely assume it's a 1000% lie.

That is Trump. He SAID he would release his tax returns so what IS the big problem?

You did not answer the question...are you a liar because you lie once, twice..
Or are you saying those on the left who also lie, are not liars because they have not lied as much....?
ETA..
And do you really not beleive that obama was not all over trumps tax returns as soon as he found out trump was the nominee...probably prior to that point...I mean obama weaponized the IRS prior anyway...so why not for taxes on his enemies??
You did not answer the question...are you a liar because you lie once, twice..
I answered the question just fine, you just don't like the answer.
Again, Trump is the most lying public figure in recorded history, so there is no "whatabout". No one lies as much as him. Any public figure, of any political persuasion, is more honest.
And, no, I don't believe Obama has anything to do with Trumps' tax returns. Why would Obama care? Also have no idea what this has to do with Dotard's lying.
That is Trump. He SAID he would release his tax returns so what IS the big problem?
I'm sure they are perfect like his phone call.
They are under audit. Even if not he can change his mind. He sees the extent his enemies will go to in trying to get him out of office. There is nothing good that will come out of him releasing them. Not because there is actually a problem with them, but the left will find something to twist into another fake scandal.
He never said that. But keep repeating lies and saying Trump is the liar. People who check things for themselves instead of relying on the lying media know the truth.
Here is a video of him saying exactly what you said he didn't say. See 0:07.
