I think they might become echo chambers. But maybe forums for each of the presidential candidates? They could be closed after the election.

Are things this slow for the Moderators on C/D

And, How would the Master Minds of C/D ensure
" only party's supporters would be allowed to comment "

I just keep thinking how many ' TIME - OUTS ' I received when Barry Soroto A.K.A Barack Hussein Obama was at the helm

For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

Again, I'm a left leaning Independent for disclosure, & its not like we're talking about a marginalized minority party or a tiny third party.

The big 2 have a virtual, if not literal, domination of the offline media & a big chunk of the online as well.

They already have like a bazillion "safe spaces" so to speak.

Should we assume this isn't happening?

Count me as one of those posters who would create at least one ghost account to troll the lefty forum.

See where I’m going with this?

So should a moderate not post ar all in a republican or democratic subforum even if some of their views are aligned with one or other at the moment. Or will they be called trolls.

I am somewhat a fiscal conservative but a social liberal. The problem is that I might disagree with Warren's tax the rich but at the same time agree with Mayor Pete gay rights issues. I might support some form of health insurance that attempts to cover a majority of CITIZENS without giving free healthcare for all. I agree with lessening our dependence on fossil fuels without rushing it in 12 years or the world will end scenario.

I think a majority of members have moderate views like mine but we get drowned by a vocal minority from the right and left. I think we should leave things as they are. It is more entertaining that way.

You think the moderators are too dumb to notice a troll? C-D forums are relatively free of trolls - the ones that pop up are dealt with. Even the ones hiding behind ghost accounts.

Now I'm sure I want the proposed forums. If nothing else, they'd be troll traps.
