And I’m sure the majority have been brainwashed by the Left that the hate is all coming from the right.
Just Another way of gradually censoring conservative speech.
Quote:
A majority of Americans believe the First Amendment should be rewritten and are willing to crack down on free speech, as well as the press, according to a new poll.
Leftists constantly bleat about how it’s wrong to put people in prison, the prison system is evil, we can’t afford the costs of putting people in prisions, blah blah blah blah...
So I think it would be quite hypocritical for them to suggest any change that could result in more people going to prison.
Conservatives hate the establishment clause, which is actually the very first thing in the First Amendment. Obviously the founders thought separation of church and state was important enough to make it the very first thing addressed in the Bill of Rights. Yet, that's such a sensitive topic for conservatives.
And I’m sure the majority have been brainwashed by the Left that the hate is all coming from the right.
The irony you would say that, since the Orange Menace in the White House and the entire Far Right is the biggest opponent of free speech there is around.
This is rich, the right defending free speech while at the same time saying the free press is the enemy of the people.
Conservatives support free speech as long as it’s speech they approve of. I remember a few years ago, David Barton went on Glenn Beck and argued that movies, TV, music, and art should have to be approved by a religious panel before released to the public.
