Yep. Schiff was super duper crafty to get more than a half dozen career State Department employees and Trump appointees to corroborate the whistleblower’s complaint. The contemporaneous documents and texts was a nice touch, as was somehow fooling Trump into releasing a call summary confirming the whistleblower was being truthful.

Confirm/unconfirm -- who cares? The informant doesn't allege any wrongdoing.

Why are Americans especially liberals so adamant about the impeachment and not concentrate on choosing their nominee for the 2020 elections. Impeachment will never happen it's simple math and what is at stake. Even if Trump was impeached like Clinton was, it will go to trial and the facts will be laid out and GOP has a majority there. So an impeachment is a waste of time to pursue, it will fuel the pro-Trump movement while disrupt the public's attention of selecting a nominee. A lot of people who don't like Trump don't know who to vote for because the news is all about Trump and nothing much about who is running against him.

Well, they know they don't have anyone that can win, so their only hope is to miracle their way into a coup of sorts. If they had any faith in any of the D list jokers they have running for president, they wouldn't be wasting everyone's time with this nonsense.

If they had an Obama or Bill Clinton to run, they'd just beat Trump and that would be that.

Well American voters can multi-task. It's okay -- we can review the options for the Democrat nominee and still want Congress to explore impeachment.

There is no pro-Trump movement. His base is loyal and will not budge. Impeachment or not will not change the base

Recent polls have shown a trend of increased interest in impeachment hearings...contradicting your view that it is having a positive impact on Trump.

And lastly, it is way too early to start talking about how Americans will vote. Election is a year away.

Agreed?
What would the whistleblower be testifying about, specifically?

An impeachment isn't a legal process, it's a political one. Therefore "due process" and such do not factor in. The Constitution provides a framework for the impeachment process. The chambers of Congress carry out the actions within that framework.

We're still waiting for the actual transcript. Think we'll ever see it?

You do know what ellipses (...) mean in a written record, I assume?

Trump is lying.

It is illegal to out a whistleblower. It is illegal to intimidate witnesses.

Whistleblower's info was accurate. Has since been corroborated by others.

How do you know all of this information?? If you are an "insider," good for you. The trump only wants to know who the whistleblower is, so that he can cause he or she harm, physically or verbally. He must think that he so above the law and above being a human being that he can say or do anything.

No, I think trump and all you folks who are still hurting that trump's opponent had millions more votes than the con man from hell. Yikes, did I just say that???

MAGA/DUMP TRUMP
