Why is the right obsessed with Nazi symbolism? (enemies, death, racist)

The latest is a woman in a "Re-open Illinois" taking a stab at the governor, who is Jewish, with a slogan that hangs above the entrance at the Auschwitz death camp, "Arbeit Mach Frei". Apparently there were more swastikas present, as there usually are at Trump rallies & other right-wing protests.



Maybe people on the right can explain for the forum: What part of the National Socialist party of Germany & their agenda from 80 years ago resonates with so many of you today?

Many Trump supporters are racists and bigots and Nazi identification allows them to express that.
