I sort of hope this gains traction, even though the guy that put this on twitters has since removed it and deleted his account. He should be ashamed of what he's done. His ignorance caused someone to lose their job but all this guy can do is cut and run. Pathetic
Yeah, people crack their knuckles like that all the time.
Sometimes they can be funny. This and the QAnon thing is funny. They started the QAnon thing to troll people too. Most trolling is fairly harmless. It's unfortunate that Mr. Cafferty got caught up in the middle of it. I really do hope he gets his job back. I will cop to engaging in trolling on occasion. Not here, usually gaming. Not griefing, just trolling. Silly stuff like running my character through public areas in her underwear, using the /hug emote on hostile NPCs during combat, things like that. Not too long ago, Trump tweeted "LAW & ORDER!" and I tweeted back "CSI!" I'm a dork, I know
That's an awesome troll tweet back at Trump!
We'll see what happens with Cafferty. I'm assuming that was a high-quality job so hopefully he gets it back because otherwise all future employers are going to Google him, of course, and now he has this incident forever cemented in cyberspace. Even potential employers who feel for him will have to be careful because of fear from the mob.
This is what the Bolsheviks did, were famous for, and other groups did, but the Bolsheviks sort of matered it and were well known for it.
After the Revolution, they went back and scanned through the entire life of people, interviewed friends, co-workers, people that use to know them, etc, and then depending on their mood, leveled charges, usually some BS about being a Tsar or White Russian supporter, or the generic "anti-Soviet activity", which 99% of everything fell into. Something someone said 10 years prior could land them in jail.
I guess a lot of us should be careful of what we post on CD then, huh?
And Libs, keep in mind that sword can cut both ways.
